In Tanzania hunting is done not only for sports and food but also to control the fast growing populations of the wild animals which will on the other hand come in contact with the human population keeping them both in danger..
To hunt in Tanzania's hunting grounds, one has to get a license(permit) from the Government.The government is responsible to keep track of the growing population of animal groups.On the other hand predators are only hunted in game reserves with a special permit.Hunting without the licence or over hunting is called pouching (exceeding the hunting permit)which if caught can lead to critical consequences..
Please Note: Hunting in National Parks is strictly prohibited while in game reserves a special permit must be obtained ..
